About
Windy Pines is a modern Americana quartet blending bluegrass, jazz, and blues into harmonious fusion. Four vocalists, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and double bass weave soulful harmonies, intricate improvisation, and infectious rhythms. Their repertoire consists of many originals inspired by great song writers of the past and present. Windy Pines captivates audiences with their versatility, delivering heartfelt ballads, fiery bluegrass jams, and jazz-infused arrangements.

Who are We?
Windy Pines formed in the Spring 2023, organically grown from a group of local musicians who had been jamming casually often.
C.P. Meyer leads the group, bringing years of experience performing music on the Colorado front-range. He sings and plays guitar, mandolin, and fiddle.
Doug Armitage provides melodious color on the mandolin and fills in on the bass from time to time. He’s known to sing well-rounded harmonies and passionate leads. He owns a music store in Nederland - Brightwood Music.
Adam Thompson is a true student of music producing gripping leads on guitar and crisp vocals. He’s an ardent patron of live music, and brings a deep repertoire to the group.
Andy Blaylock provides the low-end with the stand-up bass as well as vocal harmonies. Originally from Northern England, he’s made Colorado his home for decades.
